Its a cool game but it will be better if there is online in this game

This game is totally cool if you have patience! I love playing it and do play it all the time because its pretty realistic and easy to play. The problem is though the version I have is stuck at 1.0.something which is crap to say the least. There are so many weird glitches like disappearing aim aide ball and jumpy cuts or wrongful game calls and so on. There has not been a patch for the iphone that I have found yet and the support for the game is lame and PC only. WHEN CAN I GET THOSE ANNOYING PROBLEMS FIXED FOR THE IPHONE PLEASE! Oh and the white ball for some reason likes to fall in the pockets more than the rest of them. It seems no matter how light or hard you hit it it will somehow always find a way to scratch. That get annoying.

I dont know about others but I have had hours of commuting fun with this application and I still have to beat Curly... I know I will soon! definetely recommended!

this game amazing. It gave me more than I thought it had to offer. I play it quite often anywhere. I would ask kindly that an aim aid would be available during practice sessions and not just the bit of confusing track lines. seems like the physics are pretty realistic ( I dont play enough real live pool to notice slight uncertainties). good app otherwise! def made me love waiting around on what have I.

I had this game on a windows device for years. It is a great pool sim. Buy it!

From the lack of real-world physics to nub smashers online and lamebag buttf*cks who purposely dont take a shot when safetied, this game deserves no credit. At least the butchered demo doesnt waste your $.

I remember playing this on my old desktop pc year and years ago and it hasnt changed a bit - which is great. Very easy to use and really improved my real life play by understanding cue position and angles. I tried other pool games but the game play cant be beat...

Another great app trashed by a useless upgrade... This is one of the first app I purchased when I got my iPhone in 2008 and I played everyday for hours since then. I unfortunately installed the "upgrade" this morning and now this app is totally wasted. The graphics are now horrible, the sounds are mediocre and the play is useless as you have NO goals to achieve anymore meaning you start a game and it has no end. If you havent bought this yet DONT, and if you have it already absolutely avoid any upgrading. I miss you sorely Curlie :-( The images above are from the original app. The brilliant upgrade now makes the room pitch black. BEWARE buyer

Worse pool game Ive ever played. The easy level is impossible to beat. Never played the hard level, assume impossible

No sound!!! I write the issue in and Im told sound comes on when you play a song from your library??? Then whats the bloody point of the game!?!?

Like so many apps in the app store, this one has fallen by the wayside. What used to be a great little app has been turned into just another icon taking up space on my iPhone screen; one that because of what it used to be, stops me from deleting it permanently. The number of app creators that seem unable to resist the temptation to push the self destruct button with each subsequent update is staggering. Why couldnt we take our usernames with us when we upgraded our devices? I used to enjoy competing with my old adverseries. Why is there no sound? Come on Celeris. Sort this out please.

Retina support is almost two years late, but its nice to see the graphics have finally been updated. I dont understand why the icon is still low res though. Gameplay is still pretty good, though the physics feel a little off. I think the friction is a little too low, as the balls seem to roll a lot further than they would on a real table. The UI is still terrible, with tiny, ugly buttons that are needlessly hard to tap. Sound effects are finally working again. Doesnt seem like a whole lot of work went into this update. Its better than nothing, though. This is still the best overall pool simulation, and the career mode makes it a little more interesting to play through than most of the others, but even with the update, this app is still showing its age.

VPO is now - again - back to being the best pool simulation. During the IOS5 update, VPO lost its sound, and that disappointed many. Celeris not only fixed the sound, but updated the graphics (retina display) as well. The cue stick does not go through balls or edge of table anymore either. The animations are smoother too. VPO now looks much better then before. Other pool games allow us to only set strength of shot, then press a button to strike the ball. Another pool I have allows us to pull back on a stick, shown on the side, for strength of shot and let go. So, VPO is the only device pool game that allows us to slide our finger back and forth on the stick itself to control the speed of the shot - similar to using a mouse on the PC version. Thank you Celeris for fixing and finally updating VPS.
