Lousy graphics, poor overhead view, ridiculously unrealistic sounds... Do try Pool Star instead, ull get the difference

This is the most realistic and best pool game I ever played. I play real pool since 20 years and the game play of vp is just awesome. If you like real pool, you will love virtual pool!

This is really easy to enjoy and have fun. The control are just great and I have nothing to say about the graphic ! Just some little things will be nice to adjust. Maybe it would be better zooming by pinching (instead of the zoom button on the game), double typing for over head and when you are ready to hit you could do that at the right of the screen to have more space. That will make the operation easier and give you more control. Thanks for this great game !

I used to play this game back in the days of MS-DOS 6.22, this game transfers very well onto the iPod touch / iPhone, I bought this with no hesitation since i could trust the name. though it was a bit disturbing when I saw the video at first on how to play it. At first I thought I got scammed lol, but no worries its just an intro vid on how to play. Though Id rather they create a proper intro CG video instead =p - Good job, works great on the iPod touch (2nd Gen) Definitely worth 5 stars

Too imprecise & small area where you swing the pool stick back & forth, which is like 1/4th of an inch between the white ball & the bottom of your screen. Makes the gameplay annoying & I would say this has been a waste of money.

The only thing I would ask to change about this game would be to have an option to turn off the auto-shoot feature. Ive lost a few games because I went to adjust the spin and hit shoot giving ball in hand. Either have the option to turn it off or take the feature off completely. Great game though.

Worth the money (2.99$). I just removed all the free pool game I installed before ;-) This is simply the best pool game, realistic, great explanation, many options including different location, opponent, game type... Highly recommended

This is a very realistic pool simulation! With 2 player modes, lots of characters with varying skills, and great graphics, its a no-brainer, you need this app. The control issues have been solved, but it was powerfully fun even before.

The physics of this game just feels so right. Sleek, and honestly one of the few games I frequent on my iPhone. Good job!! Add more career games and come out with a snooker game too!

This game is really fun and pretty challenging at points as well. I have a weakness for pool games an I love this one. The only thing I think is sort of disapponting is that some of the times the computer will mess up so you will win. Usually dont at higher difficulties and definitely not a reason not to buy it! I have bought many of the games for iPod and dont play like any of them except this one!

You would think that a game that so much game rewards that it would that it would give you the option to at least to make a jump shot or even to do a swirve....dont get it!!! World Championship POOL 2009 is alot better in terms of graphics and gameplay AND you more options in terms of trick shots WCP 2009 MIGHT be interms of $$$ It is simply Better than Virtual Pool but I dare anyone to try it and make a comparison!!!!

I managed to get to the higher levels however good luck getting a shot, that is if the AI lets you. In so many of the games I didnt even get a shot because the AI took all the shots. Wheres the fun in that. The lower levels are much more interesting. Im sorry I paid for this now. I tried the lite version and thought it was a good game but the higher levels are too hard and so not enjoyable in the paid version.

I was a little thrown off by the video at the start of the game, but the graphics are sweet as well as the controls, great game. Well done!!

This game is pretty realistic and fun. Sure there are pool games out there with better graphics but its the solid physics and gameplay Im after. I dont mind the lack of jump shots and such but if they are put in with a later update I wouldnt complain. One thing the game really needs is a confirmation screen to delete a career. I was tapping through the logo at the beginning and accidentally clicked the delete career button and it wiped my entire 9-ball career. Very frustrated in that. I also agree that the AI of the Boss is way too hard. Not fun getting all the way there then losing all that cash without getting to take a single shot.

Great game except when you play the final guy, it is pretty much impossible. After my break where nothing was drained, he won 9 games without even giving me the chance to shoot. Thats just not fun.
